Full form of TFT is Thin Film Transistor, its work to give output bi-directionally for the input but there are also few transistors come in unidirectional but most of the time we have used bi-directional.

How TFT Works-

Suppose we will give supply to the forward bias means negative terminals of battery repel, approximately five percent will be in base but other 95% will get collected in the collector, that means in the base minimum currently will flow but in the collector maximum current flow. It is made of thin film amorphous silicon which is deposited on the glass.
