As ‘The Biography Channel’, the network in real was launched in the year of 1999. This was being an offshoot of the A&E television series Biography. A&E Television network actually conceived the channel as an offshoot of the long running A&E profile series Biography. Well guys and girls another thing is that in addition to airing biographical shows, the network aired fictional, non biographical programs that were previously seen on A&E , the scripted programming was dropped in fact from the channel in the very year 2007.

• In the year 2000, in the month of October, the network that is A&E here expanded its British Partnership. And this is with British Sky Broadcasting with the launch of a market Biography Channel.
• In 2006, August, The Biography Channel has became the exclusive home for the Biography series, as it was dropped A&E.
• Well dear the thing here is that sixty four more hours of the show was ordered also for its 1st year only on the Channel.
• Apart from this, in the year 2007 the Biography channel unveiled a new on air brand identifying the network simply as that of Bio.
• The very changes came as the network shifted their scope to de-emphasize traditional biographical programs in the favor of true stories about fascinating people.

FYI

In the previous section, you get to know about the facts regarding the Biography Channel. Here is another one that is as FYI. Till now we have come across a lot of things including the A&E network and so on and so forth.

In the month of December in 2013, A&E network, also knows as the name of A+E network in fact announced something. The announcement was regarding the Biography Channel. A$E network in fact announced that the Biography channel would be re branded as FYI, that is a contemporary lifestyle network, starting in mid 2014.

Apart from this, From February 2013, FYI had a slate of six new series including 3 food series.  Also this includes two home design series and one style series. In development, were the other shows. The information is that there were two of the shows in development which had pilot orders, Red Hot Design and Jennifer’s Way. In the month of April, Midnight Feast was green lit for the very new channel. While two others were order to pilot. They were Say It To My Face and Reverse Course.

Now dear with the June 2014 announcement of the February 2015 end of the ABC Owned Television Stations run digital network Live Well Network. Also dear some of their programming was being offered to FYI. And this shares partial ABC ownership. Another thing is that the very network is launched in the month of July 2007. This was done with a preview special . This is FYI, first look, that featured previews of the network’s new programming. The first of its new original series premiered the very next day, that was Married At First Sight.

Versions of FYI

Despite the relaunch, versions(international versions) of The Biography Channel continue to exist in some regions. In the previous section you get to know about the facts regarding the network. Well here comes versions. An international versions of The Biography Channel previously operated in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Latin America, also South east Asia, and Germany as well. But unfortunately has been replaced by other various channels. The Channel of Australia had been closed in the year 2015. The Canadian version was replaced in 2016.
